Hi mate Have you looked at the Wrekin reservoir? I've always classed it as a runs water as it's fairly easy, good average size of fish aswell. I haven't fished it for a few years but there must be a few 20s in there now. As for TAA Apley is meant to be a runs water with a couple of 20s but I'm not sure I've never really fished it.

Does anybody know any decent fishing spots in or around bath must be day ticket or free water as I will be doing a few after work sessions. I've tryed the Avon but no joy. Thanks jack

Hi there I don't know much about Blackfords but do you know about TAA waters that's only about £25 with about 15 pools loads of decent carp to be had. WULAC is another but that's about £100.

Does anybody know of any day ticket waters around the Warminster/Frome area including rivers stretches and any info on them would be great thanks.

It fished hard last year and the stock seems low and a bit unkown but there's I think 3 known 30lbers and proof of about 4 high 20lbers from what I've seen. Most the carp are low 20s there's a few high teens aswell and in the next couple of weeks they are putting in 10 fast growers and another 20 or so mid to high teens from another of the clubs waters. rumours of a 31lb pike aswell.

Well done m8 i fished it back in april i had three carp up to 18lb and a pike on boilie.

Again quite easy Hit the first take and play the fish, when the second goes hit it lay the rod on the ground with the bail arm open. Then, get on your knees and pray to God, Alah, the Sun and the moon and any other god you can think of for your good fortune, TWO takes, I should be so lucky. Also what some people do is set up two landing nets if theres a chance of double hook ups. Then you can just net the first fish then go straight to playing the other and then using the other net. It just saves having to unhook the first fish or trying to net the second fish with a fish already in the net.

My mate at work has been Crete lakes a few times and he said the pick up service is great along with everything ealse, and that it's a good place to go for your first trip to France.

my mate does a bit on there for the pike, he had a big tench out there a few years back aswell.

Me and my mate have fished baden about four or five times and found method feeder used to work best using just small ish baits, had loads of fish but never had anything over 13 but did see a 20 and a 16 come out the big pool. Personally i don't like the place it's too expensive for what it is.

my mate fished drayton in the week and he said there were thousands of dead roach floating around the place alot of them were biguns aswell 2lb+ easy. I don't fish it myself but i just think it's wierd that it's just the roach
