French Lakes

Hi Chaps - new to the site.

 

I can imagine plenty of you have had the discussion and there are existing forums out there on the subject, but I'm too lazy to look through them all.  Any good recommendations/your experiences of lakes in France?  I fish France ever year and its always hard to find a good lake with good owners and most importantly well looked after fish.

 

Over the last 10 years I've fished Abbey, Morgane, Oakview, Rouseu (small and big) and Lily pool.  Many through Angling Lines, so happy to give my views.  My last 3 trips have been to Sky Lakes - close to Meaux, near Paris.  What a cracking (and challenging) lake, but we go in 3's and like to be on the same bank (social fishing) so we are thinking of trying a new place in the next couple of years.

 

I head Bluewater is a good lake - but do you recommend any others?
