freeman0121 Posted May 4, 2015 Author Report Posted May 4, 2015 Ah I see nige, I found a post on here from 2008 a lad said the canal widens as it goes under a bridge somewhere between newtown and welshpool and he used to see a shoal of carp, that's a shame if there isn't any any more, I dare say ill give it ago for the tench anyway thanks for the reply mate might have a walk down it later if I can find where it widens, thanks for the reply.
