salokcinnodrog
Definitely caught on baits that have been whittled down by the creys , the last capture on the recent churn visit did me a bream at 3am ... the bait had been creyed but was happy & stuck another Stick on & out it went, back on the spot .... did me a nice carp come morning. Nige has witnessed big carp spooking off creys so I'm sure it happens obviously this could be lake dependent, They were rearing up at the carp on churn & spooking the carp .... they are like lobsters in there though! Same sort of size in Nazeing
nigewoodcock
Yep, carp definitely do spook off crays. Watched them in clear water, close quarters for a couple of days. Crays were over the baited spot. The carp would drift in and make their approach to the bait. Then, around half a metre away, they would turn and spook off. Should add that this was without any lines in the water. As soon as the crays left, the carp would return almost instantly.
