maddiesdad
Gone and got involved with lovely lady from Dunfermline, so now looking for waters nearby to do a few long sessions. Local carp knowledge is limited, I have joined the Scottish Carp Group but if anyone else has any experience of the area would appreciate any input. Well, kind of, there isnt lots to choose from! The SCG have just lost my favorite water, Fintry. The hotel owners took the lease back. There is a water in Dunfermline, The Bricky. Looks pretty rough but there are some good fish in there. Its behind the SGM mower place next to the motorway. Go on the SCG forum, there are a few members fishing it. Just watch out for the Neds in the summer! Kinghorn is not too far, gets busy and you might have to fight for a swim, but there are some good fish. Danskine Loch is really nice. you need a key from Malky. The fish arent as big there as Kinghorn but I prefer it by far. Its a proper "carpy" water. Good luck!
