moejoe125 Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 Has anyone fished Jack's Lake in Barnet London before? If so, please let me know what it's like out there, as I may be heading down there in the next few days. Also, any possible tips specific to that water would be much appreciated! Quote
spriggo Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 Fished it today. Didn't have much luck i'm afraid nor did anyone else from what I saw. Have fished it a few times before and have caught using hair rigged pellet around the man made islands. Quote
moejoe125 Posted January 7, 2013 Author Report Posted January 7, 2013 Ah man! you're not filling me with confidence mate!!! lol, that's probably down to the weather more than anything. Quote
spriggo Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 Don't be too disheartened mate. I've had some good days 6 or 7 fish in a session. Nothing too big though max around 15lb but the weather was against us today. Quote
moejoe125 Posted January 7, 2013 Author Report Posted January 7, 2013 Was thinking of going down there this Wednesday, but the weather apparently isn't going to be much different from today's... Might need to try it out next week if better weather. Quote
spriggo Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 Sound's like that will be your best bet. I did speak to someone a little while ago and their advice was to give the lake a couple of days for the colour to drop off after rain. The Baliff told me that a few fish had been coming out though. moejoe125 Posted January 10, 2013 Author Report Posted January 10, 2013 Just been for a short session at the Lake today. Not a hint of a bite! Nevermind, will try again soon! As you say, the water was very dirty... Quote
