LOL Place was a bit grotty,is all but that was a long time ago and I hasten to add before Mick Toomer took over the place (25 years) As far as I am aware the council run it now and it's fine,a lot of small fish were removed in 93 but again I think stocks are better now... samsreptiles Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 i fished here a couple of years ago done cristmas day till boxing day me and my mate had 23 fish between us nothing big tho but it was -7o at night so couldnt complane this was just befor mick left i herd he netted most of his fish so dont know what its like now how much are the tickets an can you still night fish it Quote

All I remember is that they had a very very good head of rats there and the fish where rather on the small side, but then again its not a very big bit of water so wouldn't expect to see much in excess of 10 pounds anyway. Has all the usual suspects regarding fish and Football Hooligan Anglers. Its also quite a walk from either car park so take you barrow with you, and mind the Goose poo, there's loads of that here as well. You probably guessed I was not too impressed with the place.
