pumpkin123
Just thought I'd let people know its Free fishing there now for the time being as the Wrekin angling club don't run it any more. Was also wondering if anybody's ever fished it and if it contains any good carp as i know it used to contain a big Koi at 20 plus pounds but i havent seen it for at least 6 months! Any info would be much appreciated

pumpkin123
Nothing big then, yea i saw a picture of it at 26lb it was gaining huge weight over a short period of time. But i walk past it every day and havent seen it, im not sure whether its either died or been stolen. Its in the Shawbirch, Dothill area not far from wellington mate. jemsue5
Nobody fishes it for the carp as for the Koi i'm pretty sure its gone walkabout or died over the winter. It used to stick out like a sore thumb in a water that is only a couple of feet deep. With the freeze up we had this past winter i wouldn't be surprised if a few were lost in that lake.
