pearbo Posted May 18, 2011 Report Posted May 18, 2011 Must admit i live up the road and have never heard of the catfish lake. Nar valley has catfish in (no day tickets, but no problem getting a season ticket). Quote
davyman Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 Hi i fish pentney on a regular basis there is no catfish lake but the log cabin lake has about 4 cats in and has had for years they dont come out very often but i have seen them caught by carp anglers by mistake smallest is around 30lb largets is around 60lb, if you are going to have a go fish the sunken barge which is left hand side of the barbaque swim or fish the first 2 swims in dead mans bay. hope this helps. bonedawg Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 I had a cat off the cabin lake on my 1st visit there, it weighed 24lb and came from the bay just past the log cabin, not deadmans the one between the cabin and the island it was 6 years ago and came out on a mainline NRG boilie intended for carp.
