Hi all,

i went to Green Lane Ponds,Scorton yesterday and had a good days fishing.I fished the first lake that you come to and there was plenty of roach, pearch, carp showing. I used the pole on the near margins and used Prawns as my bait.I had a good deal of Pearch and also Carp.

I then went on to the small lake were not many people fish and started to hit the bigger Carp on prawns using a rod on a free line no weight.

This worked very well and produced a few Mirrors,Commons the biggest was just short of 12lbs.

The cost of the Pond is now £6 for the day and £4 for a child to fish.Be aware that they charge an extra £2 for a second rod

I hope the info above is some help to others

Tight Lines all :)
