graywass
While travelling down the A14 today towards cambridge i noticed a lake on the left side of the road just before the godmanchester junction. Does anyone have any information on this lake?
welder
Can't help, sorry, but I've noticed this water myself whilst towing our caravan. I shall be interested to view replies as there's a nice little caravan site quite near. Ian
graywass
it looks like a very intresting lake its a shame its right on the side of the road.A lot of noise and light pollution, but then if it were in the middle of a field you wudnt notice it
brandon34
The lake at Godmanchester is called Monks lake. It's quite an expensive syndicate but has one of the best stocks of big fish in the country. I don't think this is the lake with the carvans! That's Impington Lake and is closer to Cambridge. There is a post House Hotel at one end and a travelers camp at the other.

brandon34
Try taking the godmanchester turn, off the A14, then after about 200yards go down a road called "cow lane", drive about 1 mile and you will come to the Woolpack fisheries...the tickets aren't quite as steep!
