stuonefish
fished this lake twice. last year in august cant praise this lake enough. if you get it right you could do realy well first year we fished we used large beds of baits mostly pellet bought from geof but last year best tactics were single hook baits with 30 to 50 boilies scattered around . fishing far margins as close as you dare bait boat big advatage especially in lodge swim right side of swim by far the best but you need your baits under the trees very few fish in open waters unless you manage to find one of the weed beds best swims 1 2 and 5 but can all fish well. lake has very silty bottom so longer rigs may be an advantage get on the food package and most of all talk to geof top bloke with masses of fishing knowledge good head of thirties but dit have a few boubles if yuor lucky could pick up one of the forties hope this helps just go and enjoy please dont hesitate to ask if you want any other imfo

stuonefish
great number means you can spread yourselfs all round the lake .use every swim will improve yuor catch rates.we used rigs anything between 6 to 10 inches not much luck with pop ups but snowman or double hookbaits work well. so did single baits tipped with corn. when we fished in august we all used the same bait wich was shoreline sausage oil with plenty of bait dip if your fishing open water because of the deep silt we found that we had to pull our leads out of the silt after casting there is a good gravel bar through the center of the lake just have a little plumb about worth finding .as for the water jeff keeps big bottles of water on site so have a word with him and he will sort you out. if you want to order any bait from jeff ie boilies or particles make sure you pre order pellets are not a problem. might be worth ordering some meteor boilies plus some dip as this is what jeff feeds the carp on simple rigs will surfice i am so jellous looks like our group not going this year but you never no might scrape a last mimute booking
