willi4692 Posted September 14, 2010 Report Share Posted September 14, 2010 Over the last couple of weeks finances have become rather tight and its made affording a 200 mile round trip every week almost impossible, not that it wasn't already! So a venue closer to home is what i have been looking for, I came across North Met Pit and Bowyers water and was wondering if anyone here fishes it or has fished these places? salokcinnodrog Posted September 15, 2010 Report Share Posted September 15, 2010 North Met Pit is a Lea Valley lake, and as far as I'm aware is very difficult to get a ticket on as it is nearly always fully subscribed. The fish are BIG, but as I say getting hold of a ticket is the hard part and the fishing even harder. £165 for a Day and Night ticket from memory I don't know about much Bowyers though, although it is also an SSSI and again, you have a waiting list.
