Had another day at pine pool yesterday, had a small common and two what I call jittery runs where the line is moving but not being pulled tight by the fish and when you lift into it, the fish is on but tends to blow the bait out when the line pulls tight :?

You seem to get two different types of common in Kingsbury, you get the lean long ones that are a bit barbel shaped and the more stockier ones that are a bit block like in body shape. There is a fish of about 15lb in there called hunch back 8) looks like a mix of the two commons with a long slim tail on a high back.

I was talking to the Ranger who said no body really fishes some of the larger waters any more, which is a shame, last year another angler had a 30 out of Bodymoor Heath said it was the first time it had been out, plus there were 30lb fish in there back in the seventies and eighties, there has got to be a Forty in there?

Canal pool has had a Thirty out this year, even though every one says there is no big fish in there any more :o

Any way I’ll be going back next week hopeful, the fish really are moving around the whole of Pine pool at the moe.

Edited to remove the link that Carpbell had put up, on his request.

Had a terrible day at kingsbury yesterday lashed it down till tea time and I blanked, thought I was gonna have a great day, I was getting loads of bites up until 9am then it just all went dead, real shy biting all over the pool. They were hammering the lose feed but when it came to a hook bait they were being real careful, I had one take all day that lifted my bobbin up to the rod. There's is night fishing on tonight at Kingsbury, wouldn't mind a proper go at kingsbury over a few days.

Carefulcarping's latest vid from Kingsbury, shows some of the nice commons that are in pine pool, on a very good day session. hope he don't mind me linking the vid.

Undecided on three straight days on Barston or two day sessions at Kingsbury :?
