Originally from Reading Berks but now live in Calne Wilts and work in Swindon.

I've been fishing since I was 10 starting on local ponds but as I got older my fixation with flowing water started where I have been fishing for the last 15 years mostly for barbel on the River Kennet and Bristol Avon with the odd trip to the River Loddon thrown in. Last year I fell in love with a lovely lake near me were I targeted carp match style with float and paste the largest weighed fish was 9lb 12oz but I'm sure I had a larger one I didn't weigh so I'm still looking for my first official double.

My other interests include my lovely family, motor sports, football, cars and of course beer.
