Hello lads. So ive decided to change my set up and brought back avid 2tonne flurocarbon leader on 0.41mm I've tied it to my main line via a Albright knot. How long do you think I need to have the leader it's self? And do I need to stretch it out? Many thanks

I thought I would give Korda readymade zigs a little go. they arrived today in the post, 3 10ft zigs with black yellow and white foam using a mixa hook. I must say the look the part and the packaging is pukka And not to pricey at 4.99 for the 3 anyone else toying with the idea? going to get some more at 8 and 6 feet. will try them down linear in a few weeks

do you use a fluorocarbon leader or do you just literally connect it to your mainline? will be trying this in a few weeks on farlows on my 72hour sesion

perfect, so if I do as normal and thread my mainline through my eyes of my rods etc. thread the sinkers onto my line, then put the chod onto my line and then another sinker with a bead over the top and then my lead? another option to prevent the grating as what hutch said is to thread say a meter of tubing over my main line and set it up that way? thanks

Right...not to clued up on these but here goes. Is it possible to use my mainline-Korda 15lb sublime and insert the beads and cod and connect the lead to the mainline, a couple of blobs of putty to pin it down. Is this how you perform the naked chod. I know there is more components but that a short description. Is this strong? Thanks

Yeah i use the palomar but struggle with the stiffness,never really use flurocarbon but want to introduce it more into my fishing this year. I've got a few made up with krimps but a bit scared to use.

I really struggle tying knots onto link loops/swivels with fluorocarbon what knott do you find best and why? anyone crimp this?
