Anywhere in UK. I want big value big carp fishing. I'm experienced and very caring. Can travel to work anywhere.. depends on the fishing. (I'm a chef u can get work anywhere on Earth lol).

I don't think the hook pattern matters a huge amount if you get the curve in the tubing right. I'm really into very sneaky little fluorocarb line aligners with small ESP Big T Hooks running through inline stonzes.. most effective, subtle, safe and sensitive rig I've ever come across.. but I fish a clear bottom (hard clay with light weed) so I'm lucky - the water is gin clear so I need that subtlety.

It's obviously a dump and not worth fishing. Move on.

Can't work out how though.. any tips? Pva taping a stick on? with rig foam over point of hook? really wanna sort an anti tangle rig out.. gonna try chods and helicopter rig maybe.. But an anti tangle bottom bait rig.. Doesn't have to be too fancy my water aint hard.. rig just needs to be subtle enough and well balanced. thanks mate.

I DO use my imagination but my rigs keep tangling (especially hair round hook) and I'm asking where to buy amnesia to make better rigs tangle free and up my game a bit. Carp aren't easy to catch.

What are the components I need for this rig.. Where can I get black amnesia? I want to improve my simplistic rigs I think they are letting me down. Thanks.

Join a club mate. Syndicates are hard to find and take time to get into.. pubs, and tackle sops best bet! Don't worry about 'em, they're usually expensive, and would be hard.. Although superb of course, but that's the point.. Once a syndicate is full of members, that's it.. it's shut up shop.. the are no email mailing lists like clubs have! I'd just stick at my daytickets and perhaps a club..I'm newly back ino it myself.

Tanyards has all three of those mate.. last one in droves.

My favourite is Tanyards Fishery.. in Sussex. It has everything.. variety (7 lakes), scenery, features, well run, sensible rules.. and BIG fish! Most importantly BIG GRASSIES!!! Going there next week for two nighter I hope.. Happy days.

What makes a good day ticket water? These places charge quite a lot on the whole.. Compared to the price of joining a club. I would expect the management to do all they can to make a hole in the ground as interesting as possible.. Something they didn't on the last place I fished.. No hotspots/places for the fish to hide equals: boring! No snags, no Islands, and cars parked all the way round. Yuk! At a tenner a day, and 20 for 24 hours, that isn't good value.. Should be 12 quid for 24 hr. sesh.
