its nice to see people enjoying their selves over at genesis, what a lovely place it is. It's gonna be late next year before i can get over again, but sure as eggs are eggs i'm going!. It will be nice to just sit in the beautiful surroundings of genesis , with the bonus of catching a few carp (maybe eh, lol!).Most of all it will be nice to see my friends again, Eddy and Val. lovely people , lovely lake, what more could anyone want? take care you two best regards ..john

Hi Niall, nice to hear you enjoyed yourselves at genesis,lovely place ain't it?.The weather certainly was horrendous to say the least,when we left you at genesis it never stopped raining till we got to calais!,so we knew you was gonna have it a bit rough with the weather.Good to see you got a few 30's on the bank but i'm sure we would have all done better had the weather been with us.I think we're booking for next year,but perhaps a little later in the year(if we can wait that long), we love the place, the only thing wrong with genesis is that i don't live there!.Well done with your catches in what really were difficult conditions and glad to hear you enjoyed val's legendary cooking and the warm hospitality that genesis welcomes you with,(plus catching carp is a real bonus!!). take care now...john

Got to agree with mikeshe,go for the food as well,you wont regret it i'm sure.We was there last year and we are going again in a couple of weeks(13th april).The lake is absolutely stunning,it stinks of carp as soon as you look at it,all the swims are very well maintained and full of features, plenty of room too.The actual fishing for us was unbelievable,the food was great,beautiful lake, top class hosts,sensible rules and loads of hard fighting carp.All in all, its makes it an experience you want to repeat,roll on the 13th april!!....good luck wherever you go, but genesis is defo one to consider if it's your first french trip. Hello Val and Eddy, welcome back outa hibernation!.I hope you are both well and ready for the new season, the weeks seem to be licking past at an alarming rate for me, maybe too fast for comfort.6 weeks today(yes 6) and we'll be setting off for genesis!,i can't wait.Good to hear the phones and puter are up and running again, it's a proper nightmare without em, how did we ever manage?.We'll see you soon, take care u 2 and take it easy. Hello Val and Eddy, the guy i work with is Carl but the guy thats booked is Mick, i think , anyway it's the 17th of sept that they are coming over.Iv'e been trying to work the finances out to come with them, but sadly can't manage it .The work just aint here for us yet , so i'll just have to wait while april .I'm keeping fine now, thanks for asking. Alans just phoned and said that he'd spoke to you earlier, to confirm our booking for next year, so that's took the sting outa not being able to manage sept( ive just got to put up with the constant reminders at work now!). I'm sure that 40's on it's way, maybe 2 or 3 even. Keep up the good work and take it easy u 2. best regards ....john

And what a week it was, i'm still buzzing, hospitality 100%, food 100%, fishing 100%, and the lake is even better than it looks on the website!!.I went over to daz's place today and he's still got that big smile plastered across his mush and i think it will be there till next april, a little correction to the catch report tho, 23 carp 1 tench for 495lb , pete say's it's the most enjoyable weeks fishing he's had in france but i think that's something we all agreed on. Thank's again Eddy and Val for a brilliant 5 star week, i can't wait till next year, take care u 2. and that little lot earns u 2, 1m of these smiling little chinese men.
