  1. Allo Newmarket, sorry for not replying sooner. The weeks fishing cost £205 and the food package was an extra £120. If you want to check out the website it is www.genesis-carpfishery.com and as you can see they are offering a free weeks fishing to whoever catches the first 50
  2. Hi there Me and a friend have recently returned from our annual fishing trip to Genesis Carp Fishery and I thought I'd share some of our fantastic week with you all. During our trip I managed to land 36 out 41 takes, the biggest of them being a 43lb8oz mirror which was also a new p.b. I also had 5 x 30's, 16 x 20's and 14 x doubles. I even had an 11lb6oz pike which was also a new p.b. All the fish in this lake are in excellent condition and fight like demons. I caught 18 of my 36 on Bloodworm boilies from Sticky Baits and the other 18 fell to Genesis own boilies (aptly named Genesis) all were fished over a small bed of pellet and maize which along with the Genesis boilies can be purchased from Edy the owner when your there. Not only was the fishing outstanding but the food which consists of Breakfast, dinner with a pudding was excellent as well. The friend I mentioned at the start had an exceptional week as well landing 36 fish the biggest being 39lb10oz, not quite the forty he was hoping for but it was an new p.b. all the same..Maybe next year
  3. I couldn't agree more, me and 2 mates have just come back from a week at Genesis. After a bit of a slow start I finished up on 18 fish which included an absolutely stunning 8lb fully scaled mirror, 6 between 13 and 20lb, 10 between 20 and 30lb and a new p.b. of 34lb,. One of my mates had 19 fish up to 34lb Beating his p.b. twice. My other mate had 20 fish including the biggest of the week 36lb equalling his p.b. (from genesis last year). All the fish caught through out the week were a mixture of mirrors, commons and we even had a couple of koi. It was the third year running we've been over to Genesis and I must say that the hospitality that we recieve from Eddy and Val is second to none, the food is excellent and the onsite advice you get from Eddy is well worth a listen, without it one of my pals would have really struggled as he was only using boilies, Eddy suggested he use their pellets and maize and fish his boilies over the top. We all took our own boilies and as always we used some of their boilies (the crab and maple and tiger nut and scopex) along with their pellets and maize. Definately going back next year, booked up before we left for home.
  4. Hi guys and gals, Me and 2 mates are going over to France in September (fishing Genesis), just wandering if anyone knows of a cheap van hire company I could use, we usually go by car but as there's 3 of us this year there's no chance of us all getting in the motor. I'm based in Sheffield, so if anyone knows where I can get hold of a van I'd be most appeciative. Thanks very much and tight lines
  5. Hi there everybody I'm going down to Bluebell these weekend with a mate of mine, we've never been before and was wandering if anyone has been there recently, if so we would appreciate it if you could tell us anything about the place, like which lake we stand the best chance of some action, what baits are doing well, if any. Stuff like that. Many thanks Dave
  6. nah, can't help you. I didn't bother going in the end and went somewhere else.
