  1. yeh supose thats tlhe case with everyday ticket water, yeh have seen both the lakes, but apparently the bottom one has a high stock of carp and also the bigger fish are in it. many thanks
  2. oh right okay think il have to talk to the bailif one day when im down there. does it get crowded down there? or do not many people fish it? many thanks
  3. okay mate, yeh i supose it depends on the day and how many fish are showing in spots, yeh i was thinking that. due to the lake not being that deep i think surface fishing would work very effective there. do you know if that works on the lake? many tthanks
  4. okay well i think i would try either a chody or a helicopter rig as wont have to worry about the lead pulling the bait into the silt. also did you fish over a large amount of bait or just small amounts? many thanks
  5. okay mate, yeh everyone saying its very silty, i havent managed to take a marker rod up there with me yet. but any idea how deep the silt actualy is? and surely the whole lake carnt be silt there must be bits of gravel and clay or is it just all silt? and okay mate many thanks
  6. hi thanks for that mate sounds a very good lake and im thinking of joining in march for 6months so i have the spring/summer to fish. any advice on whats rigs work best there mate? and what bait works good? many thanks
