hi paul valee lake is tempting as a first trip to france but if i was you i would go to a straight forward runs water and atempt vallee lake after a few trips elsewere as its not a easy lake having said that if you do catch there it could be a fish of a lifetime. if you want a good runs water with loads of carp and cats i would recomend a lake called lords on the angling lines website and you get exclusive use of this lake good luck with your first trip to france.

hi all i hope to be booking a trip to eagle lake next year for me and a mate, after a recent trip to vallee lake which was disapointing, so i decided on going to a runs water to get my confidence back in french fishing, so if anyone can tell me more about eagle lake and peters pool, good and bad feedback would be appreciated. thanks

hi all after fishing france for my 1st 40 pounder having completed this,i am looking to do a weeks fishing holiday in the uk with a chance of getting my 1st engish 30 pounder can anyone recomend a lake with this in mind with facilities to use shower etc.would appreciate any feedback.

hello mate i have been to france 4 times now, and have searched for the best prices,i dont like to say but you will struggle to find somewere for £250 unless you get a good deal on a exclusive booking with a large group, most fisheries charge about £350 then you have the crossing on top of that.i recomend a lake called lords on the angling lines website for a exclusive booking for 3 anglers its about £350 each,i have tried doing it on a budget but its very hard to do. good luck with your search.

hi all am going to vallee lake 1 with a mate in september,we have the 3 swims that go with the carpers cabin,can anybody recomend what boilies have worked for you.i have been to frace 4 timesl fishing margot,morgannes and commons all with good results if anyone wants to know about these lakes drop me a line thanks.
