Ive never fished it to be honest mate fished cudmore a few times and pineapple always seems to be the one on avoca lake they love it in there and if you fancy going for the cats lambs liver is a good 1

Hi I have just started working on the Wirral and have been hearing stories from a few of the lads about the bricky or moreton brick pit ! Anyone fished this before and got any tips am thinkin of taking a few half days ofr work and putting a few afternoon / evening sessions in. Any ideas on baits or tactics would be great Thanks Matt

Hi Guys, I know this has probably been covered before. I am fishing home farm near alsager next sunday on the speci lake and wondered if anybody had any tips on fishing this place as i have never fished it before i was thinking towards having 1 rod on the method feeder (halibut) groundbait and meat on the hook and the other rod with a pva bag of pellets and crushed boilies and halibut pellets or chops on the hook . If anyone would like to give me any pointers that would be great. Cheers Matt

Hi im fishing a 48 hr session on Avoca lake at cudmore in a few months and i was wondering if anyone has fished this lake before?? What sort of size are the fish and tactics ?? Thanks Matt

Ive never fished it myself to be honest. i have heard good and bad things about it though ( like any water i suppose ). They are supposed to be shy biters but if you get the method right you can make a quite decent catch. Other waters you might wanna try are Lakemore, sale water park, Four seasons, Llyn Gweryd, Mescar, Rosemary wood ( all of these are within 1 - 1 1/2 hours of you at most ) Also the Liverpool park lakes are always worth a shout ( and its free fishing ). With some of them having 30's in them. Although i have heard stories of a lot of the bigger fish dying over the winter due to the council not bothering to get off there ar$£ and break the ice as the lakes we frozen for about 3 weeks. Im not sure how true these stories are only time will tell !!!
