ive night fished this lake twice now both times with the boilies they sell and blanked twice and most of the people in the other swims tend to blank as well just wondering if there other lake is tickets as well or have to be a member ??

oh and what are the most effective baits on this lake ?? thanks a lot

looked at that lake i never knew there was a lake like that in brightlensea !!!!!! dont say prices though how much mate for a 24 hour ticket ?????

I can think of a number of lakes in the area. You have Bobby Georges Lake which although has a long list of DONT'S, you will catch fish from, you have Tiptree Lake, again another small fish water, both you will catch on various baits, from maggots to paste to sweetcorn etc. You seem really out of your depth attempting to fish Weeley (OR at ALL ), which does not give fish up easily. That thread basically about it "Essex Carp Waters" the general findings are that the fishing is far from easy. Possibly your best bet may be to join CAPS and fish some of their waters which have a number of fish in. Fish some of the easier waters and work your way into fishing, learning and gaining experience fished weeley last night got a 16lb carp and a 14lb cat fish GET IN !!![

i need a good lake with fairly big carp in it on a day ticket in the clacton /colchester area as i have fished weeley a few times but not a lot of big fish there well i havent seen any lol please could you point me in the right direction thank you ..

im going fishing on this predator lake at weeley on the weekend never fished it before what would you recommend bait wise ?? ive fished the s shaped 1 next to it a few times never caught anything of a good size always small carp and i hear that the bobby george lake in ardleigh is meant to be good anyone got any info on this lake ???

has anyone on here ever fished bobby georges lakes in ardleigh colchester are they any good for catching carp ?? and how much is a day pass ??
