Be aware that one of the best spots mentioned in other blogs i.e. River Guadiaro near Gibraltar - is constantly patrolled by Gaurdia Civil and woe betide you if caught! Two reasons -1. you don't have Spanish license and insurance -result confiscated kit -denuncia and possible fine as with all freshwater fishing. 2. EVEN if you have license/ insurance its a RESERVE area WHERE NO FISHING ALLOWED - result confiscated kit -denuncia and possible fine! If you know differently please reply - also worth telling Guardia Civil.

Great little spot out on Coin road heading for Cartama - look out for sign showing picture of a fish [ its only small so keep your eyes out!] 15euros a day and carp up to 30lb.

I live in Spain - Costa del Sol - and have a couple of special carp venues - only 4 to 8 lb average size but surrounded by superb scenery. If anyone interested or has some venues in Andalusia please espond.
