  1. Braintree in essex, bottom lake is one of my favourite lakes for plesuare fishing. its very well stocked with carp averaging about 5-6 pound but there is carp up to 28 i have heard. pole fishing and feeder both work well and they seem to eat anything and i have seen bags of up to 80 pound in a match.
  2. Hindaclay, florance lake in norflok. the best lake iv fished in a while. there is loads of singel figuerd carp that dont take lond to bite and a really good head of double figuerd carp as well. i actually caught my first double figuerd carp there the other day and it didnt take long to bite. that was also followed by a 9 pounder a an 8 pounder. i highly reconmend it. the man that owns it is really helpull aswell and you can also buy some bait there to. you do have to use there own pellets tho.
  3. thanks for the info i think i might give it a miss then, id like something abit more challenging. i was thinking of the natural lake at suffolk water park.

  9. has anybody fished the new big fish lake at creeting st peter? if so what was it like? i want to fish it but i dont like to wait to long for a bit. i used to fish the two others lake there a few years ago but i think they may have been netted recantly. i also fish match lake 2 at suffolk water park as the fish come hard and fast, they only get up to about 6 pound tho and id like to catch some bigger ones as iv never had a carp over 10 pound could anyone recomand a good carp lake in suffolk where you dont have to camp out for 3 day just to catch 1.
