i always hav this problem when fishing in madrid, the bleak are very annoyin but im told if you use bleak as dead bait, they attract larger carp and big barbel

oh ive been now. fishing was fairly hard 2 be honest but still enjoyed it

oh yeh i jus read back that u heard of some good cats. Are there any barbel in here or is it just mainly carp?

or nicee ill hav 2 give it a go. wer u jus fishing basic baits such as maize, halibut pellets etc. r ther any cats in here? cheers

hey i heard of 1 lake wiv carp to over 50lb! I have fished a reservoir called els guimets cud this be th same place? but im not sure.

sorry i meant to say i have never seen an angler put a fish back in mainland spain, i fish the areas near to madrid and i get strange looks when i put carp back into the water.

I have to agree that you must be rite i hav only fished on the ebro twice im going next month but i have noticed a lot of people taking carp out of the river and in massive proportions as well. Im not sure if u are aware but its not only the ebro where this is happening, i fish in mainland spain and people never put fish back there aprt from myself. I have seen an angler put a fish back into the water so its not only the ebro that has problems. good website by the way

yeh im fishing futher down im fishing near mora de ebro, Also last time i went for a little cruise about in a rubber dinghy and found a big weed with lots of big carp in it, how can i fish in that weed bed? i was thinking about creating a big hole in it a filling it with bait. would this work or is it not even worth trying. thanks

I have just booked my trip to the ebro for the end of june. I have fished the river in september last year can i expect the same type of river conditions etc. By this i mean will the flow be the same and will there be the same amount of weed as there was a lot last time. thanks

quick question for any who fishes the ebro fairly regualry is the month of july a bad month to due to trying to cope with the heat? i go to madrid in august and its really hot theres no chance u could fish all day in tht! is it th same for the ebro in july?

hey anyone know how the winter fishing is goin on the ebro at the mo. I belive it is q a warm winter in spain this year has this affected the fishing? Anyone know of any dcenet captures as this is a good time of year for big carp.
