    Fished Manor Farm a couple of times (Blunham and Damsel) relatively successfully but have looked at Chestnut Pool on the net - which one would you say in your considered opinion was better?

    Based in Bedford, fished a lot as a kid but now I fish a couple of times a year mainly with work, but am competent (39lb out of Newland Hall last Friday - not difficult I know )and now the Son wants to try it! Need a venue which is child friendly (he's 13, going on 18!) around Bedford. Preferably to catch (appreciate no guarantees) single figure Carp to ease him in to it. Also will only be weekends so somewhere that is not very busy (appreciate this could be a challenge) Any ideas ?
