Me and my mate have just got back from a brilliant week at Blavet Valley Lakes thanks to Gordon, Berny and Ross. We drove from S Wales and were given a welcome drink on arrival and then shown around the lake. I think you'd be hard pushed to find a better setting anywhere. The lake was very well set out with excellent access, which I needed.The fishing was excellent, as was the food and the company. I had 4 PB's with the best being a 35lb 8oz mirror(5 if you want to count my new PB weight after all the great food!) I certainly won't be looking for any other venues now, this was my fourth fishing trip to France and it was far better than any of the other venues I've been to, I'll go back to BV next time, might even manage another PB, there's plenty of bigger fish there to be caught!
