i was talking to a bloke the other day who used to fish lawford angling venues. He said there was a lake in furze hill, mistley virtually in my back garden. But he said they had sold it, so does anyone know if its now pirvate land etc. I dont want to go down there and start fishing and get done for trespassing thanks in advance (you can look at it on google maps if needed)

k guys i'll see you saturday. thats the only problem with the new shop is parking, but its much bigger so much more stuff and more visable to people going through manningtree.

Oh k do you know which shops sell the tickets, i work at manningtree angling round the corner and i dont think we sell them.

so how much is it or is it defintley free? and is there a sign by the swims with more info, thought i saw some sort of sign down there?

I live near manningtree and as you head towards brantham (under the railway bridge) on the left is the river stour i think. I can see to 2 wooden platforms swims from my car but do you know if its club, day ticket etc. or if it can be fished at all, thanks in advance

tbh m8 im only telling you wot my m8 told me, im gonna join caps this season and i'd rather be fihsing bovi or snake etc. than rect.

4 swims for suitable night fishing not many fish and numbers onknown average is bout 16lb
