just got back from kingbury another result double kg1 boilie and a 2ft hooklink managed to bank me a 24lb 5oz common. thanks for the advice

hi nash have fished this place for the first time this year only twice but both times have had fish. Also the guys i fish with have had one each the last 2 times we've been am actually going tommorow as the opening time now is 5:30am. I have been using richworth pineapple bottom baits thats all any of us have caught on but will be trying KG1's tommorow so will let you know how i get on. And if the sun is out Mixer's are good i feed them and have a cell pop up on the hook. alot of guys there dont fish the bottom. Hope this helps Baldrick

Went to cuttle mill with my mate choddy b, monday after not managing to go when last intended. I blanked but choddy managed 3 from peg 1, weighing 18lb8oz, 28lb1oz (pb), 22lb1oz. So i acted as generally gilly. I returned to the mill on today undefeated and managed a 14lb4oz common fom peg 9, Result. If no ones ever fished it and reading this its truely a cracking venue and a chance of a new pb with every visit. Baldrick

Has anyone fished here this year yet?? i am due to fish here at the weekend for the first time and would appreciate some help if anyone as fished there recently. Look forward to any replys

As i understand you want to fish a bottom bait with the hook off the bottom, if so you can use pop up foam inserts cut down on the hook just to lift the hook above the bait. Ive used this rig to some success when the carp have been just mouthing baits.
