  4. too be honest it won't be difficult this year because it's a new lake not been fished until april this year.at the end of the season vince(owner) is going to assess all catch report's from this year.then restock accordingly with fish over 50lb.next year will probably be a little harder because this year's fish would have wised up a bit,but then you will have the restock fish that will not have been caught before. I have already booked for next year and so have a few other angler's.give the owner a ring and have a chat. pasta1.

  6. Hi all been a while since I last posted, anyway back from my week at fabulous etang la planchette.Vince and Tina !!! what can I say ? there is nothing possible that they could have done to help us out, make us feel more welcome.the hospitality showed by Vince and Tina was second to none, the food was tremendous and plenty of it too(thanks tina). The fishing was fantastic, vince done all he could to put us on the fish, first week 87 fish landed,2nd week(our week)62 landed i think, but not fished solid, all our first time in france, all really enjoyed every aspect of the trip. every fish that i saw landed, was a real stunning fish wether it was a low 20 or low to mid 30,34lb 8oz being the biggest that week.not massive i know for france, but i hear this week some larger carp have been landed so maybe just waking up. Already booked for next year's trip, stunning carp, very helpful owner's and great food too.If I can work out how to upload pic's I will do soon. thanks vince and tina. pasta1

  8. hi firstly thank's for all replie's. I know that the owner(english)has been feeding them pellet and boilie,he has had the lake a year now,and has not opened it to fish till april this year.there is original stock in the lake, some big lump's to,and also stocked it with over 120 fish from 22lb-50lb+. as far as I am aware they are farmed fish,as in your replie's,I am going to take all the mentioned bait, probably do a rod on each to find what the fish prefer. hopefully I will have a result on all of them. thank's again pasta1
  9. hi all Im going on my first french trip,it's a lake not been fished yet. just wanted to ask some advice on baiting for a lake like this.i.e particle's, boilie, pellet. what approach would you take, would you take all three bait's or boilie and pellet. any advice welcome. thank's
  10. Hi mate myself and 5 other's have the lake booked for a week,if you take the time out to phone vince he will give you any information you need to know, a really helpful fella.and i'm told to expect to come back a few pound heavier than when I went, apparently tina's meal's are the dog's. what nicnac has posted is spot on,haitch are you driving yourself or getting bus from billericay, even the guy's at the tackle shop could give you a lot of information if you need it. hope this help's in someway.
