i am pleased to say the inline setup works a whole lot better i had 2 fish and no weed got caught at all thanks for all ur posts

thankyou all for your replies i am going tommorow for a couple of nights and im going to give the inline setup a go i will post on here if it solves my problem.

hi all i have started fishing a new pit and it is realy weedy and on the weekend i lost 3 fish and i think it was due to the lead being caught in the weed if i used a inline setup would this stop this probblem from happening or if anyone has any ideas this would be great?

by free running rig i take it you mean inline lead set up?

is this method with a lead clip setup? what size leads do you prefer to use then?
