Hi, I must butt in here, I have used tl all this winter, had plenty of fish to 35lb, i fished it combi style using sufix heavy braid for the hook. I did find it better to soak the tl before using it, but like someone above said, it helps to nulify the head shakes, and is fantastic close to reeds. Roger

Not sure if its the same rig but on u tube there is the recoil rig, I have been using Nash Triggalink for a while now, it has a bunge effect neutralises the head shakes a lot. I use Quick silver shock leader to tie the hook then tie in it to the triggalink, its has landed me some good fish out of a very snaggy hard water. Roger
