Sorry but I guess this reply won't help but this my point of view. I’m new top the forum, new to carp fishing but not fishing and I am going to Bounty Lakes late June this year . I have not fished in France before and to find discussions on fishing in France was very helpful. To find discussion on the actual lake even better. I can understand that forums can be misused but to have a lake where the owners review the forum and help by answering question is a great to see. As far as I’ve seen the Bounty team have restricted them selves to answering question and not selling the lakes. If you read the posts you will see they don't hide there identity and if there is any concerns they are very quick to post replies to ensure everyone knows who they are. For me there is more post about bounty because the owners won’t to ensure they have satisfied customers iby more than just providing a venue to fish. Well done, if more owners put this level of effort into forums they might get a bit more exposure. Oh! Just had another thought maybe the knockers are owners of other lakes that people don't discuss. LOL

Thanks for the information. I think we are on the barn bank of Bounty 2 as the other bank seems to still be available the date we are there. The rules are as i would expect but its always best to check. Its a long way to go with the wrong kit. Out of intrest what end is the holding end. Is it the bounty 1 end of the lake or the club house end? many thanks for help Garry

Johnhere, I'm off to bounty 2 at the end of June with my son. This forum seems a great place to clear a few things up. Does bounty to have fixed swims as we will be sharing a bivey and i'm not sure if this will work if the swims are a long way apart? I see the 2009 lake rules inndicate micro barb hooks is this correct? the rules also state no fixed rigs. I think I understand but could you give me a clearer deffinition The rule on the use of nuts is not clear. there seems to be a word missing 'Nuts may be used at ALL (this includes Tiger Nuts)' I assume this means no nuts many thanks
