    In search of breaking the 30 barrier my bro and I are visiting the monument next month for the first time. Fishing swims 8 and 9. Hoping to get off the 28 and 29 PBS we have been stuck on for a couple of years. Does anyone have any useful tips for these swims.     Hi Fishing Old Bury Hill Lake in Dorking, Surrey, tomorrow for the day. Short notice I know but you never know someone might have some last minute tips? Any specific swim hot? any specific boilies - planning on KG1 Richworth and trusty old cell. Is there much weed? Cheers Meekster

    Hi My brother and I are looking for a syndicate water to join in either the South Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire area. We live in London and Scarborough and need somewhere in the middle.     Cheers for the info and update danny. Sounds like the lake holds some nice fish which I am sure we stand a chance of catching. May not break a pb but you never know!

    Thanks for tops Ian, will arm ourselves with the pineapple boilies. The shallow end will be our target as by next week the weather should have improved.

    Many thanks for the info, really useful. Think its worth a go, even if just for the scenery. Will be taking some trusted boilies to tempt the carp a week on Friday. Bring it on.

    Hello I will be staying in derby next Friday night. The following day I would like to do a 36 hour stint at local lake. Can anyone recommend anywhere to fish in the derby/Nottingham area? Or within an hour of derby? Looking for somewhere that will provide plenty of action with lots of twenties. Pb is 27lb so would be lookin to top that! Thanks in advance for any tips. Meekster
