If the place you mean is the one near Winchester then it's no fishing. It's a fish farm. Good fun watching the lake when the feed pellets get thrown out of the feeders, the water turns to froth! Must be millions of carp in there.

When i used to fish Dryad it was on an exchange ticket through Portsmouth & District Angling Club. The fish in there are wildy strain so rarely go above 10lb's or so. Great sport though as it's packed full of fish. If your on the South Coast (like me), you'll find this interesting.. http://www.carpcorner.co.uk

Theres a few decent lakes around the Fareham and Southampton area. River Farm in Fareham, and Rooksbury just outside are worth a look. Don't think River Farm has a website but the Eastleigh angling club do. Few pics here also, http://www.carpcorner.co.uk.
