  1. What about Elphics in Kent? I suppose it depends where you are coming from and what you would like to do. Is it just fish a lake/res or would you like to dip into some river action as well?
  2. WEll as you may well have seen i'm off to Etang le fays in July. I've been there last year but as it was my first carp fishing trip for a long long time and hadn't relly done any sort of session for years i blanked so feel that i had something to prove and wanted to crack the lake. That is to say that i will this time but i have learnt a lot from the trip and also after.
  3. I know its great. I like the build up getting my kit all sorted what to take what no to take, what tatics to use and what bait to get and how much. I love it. And the lake is fantastic really peacefull and quite, well hopeful with a bit of action everynow and again.
  4. I just got to say that i am really excited. Booked a week at Etang les Fay for 5 of us for the sumer. just had to tell people as i'm quite excited.
  5. I heard that there was quite a wait to get on this lake. i have heard of a few people getting on with ringing then site up when there is some really bad weather expected and seeig if anyone had dropped out. so you could try last minute and see what they say. but you have to remember that is is getting quite a big reputation as a big fish day ticket water so gets very busy at times. there are always ather lakes on the complex that you could fish? Just on a side not anyone fished thier syndicate lakes at the top and if they are well stocked?
  6. no probs. Environment Agency. and have looked for the weblink and here it is, http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/recreation/fishing/31445.aspx you will want to go to southern region then kent and east sussex for the page that you do want. mods hope you dont mind that link. PS dont forget to get a licence to fish or two if you want to fish with 3 rods.
  7. Well it depends on what you like really. I doubt that you would have to que up this time of the year but during the summer months and bank holidays then yes you would i have seen it very busy around those times. Its not my kind of fishing experiance being very commercial and a bit of a runs water but its up to you. I would suggest you try for yourself and see what you think of it. You may like it. Then you can make your own mind up. But remember there are other day ticket waters out there. The alternative is that you call the EA and ask for one of the places to fish in Kent books or there might be a page on their website but there are some free river sections as well around the tonbridge and maidstone area that are very nice. hope this helps
  8. you can try the tonbridge angling club who own a couple of waters with some decent size fish in. or there are other clubs in the area for a bit of varity. but there also some day ticket waters around that might do you, elphics nr horsemonden being one. or hawkhurst. just google them for there locations
  9. hi mate, There are a few around, Monks lakes, Elphicks lakes and orchard place farm down in paddock wood to name only a few. It depends on how far you are willing to travel as well. but those three would suit your needs. You could phone up the local ea office and they do a book on where to fish in the county so that would be a good starting point or go into one of the tackle shops around maybe maidstone tackle. if you want any futher info google is your friend or i will try to help.
  10. You could look at strawberry fields that is just down the road that could be more up your street?
