ive just found out that the 1 on the left is called Drummonds Dub & the 1 on the right is Hartleton Lake. they are run by different people. Drummonds is mainly silver fish but Hartleton Lake has silver & a few carp around the 30lb mark. The bloke i spoke to said theres not that many carp in there but they are a nice size. i will have to give it a go soon i think.

ive always bought korda wide gape in the past but after reading this thread i thought id order some fox arma that everyone is talking about. Well they arrived today & what a difference, omg they are so much sharper than the korda ones, i tried some mustad hooks the other day & again no where near as sharp as these fox arma ones. i know which ones will be going in the bin lol. shame they dont do them in a 12

kryston mantis dark is black with a grey fleck in it. its coated but easy enough to remove

Hi all, just wondered if anyone knows where exactly is Biddlestone pool. i know its near ross-on-wye which is not to far from me & i also know that its run by brian powel of 3 counties. ive searched there website, google earth & on here but cant find its location anywhere. not looking to fish there yet but would be nice to know where it is as i travel that way quite offten. the match is a 5 hour match, any type of fish as its all about the total weight at the end of the day. Thanks

Hi all, ive done a search but couldnt find anything. After reading a number of posts on braid ive gone & bought some Kryston Mantis dark. one thing i would like to know although it might sound stupid to some people & please remember im new to fishing. Is it always best to remove the coating when tying a knot on the swivel or forming a loop. Thanks Lee

Hi all, a few men & myself from work have organised a comp on the 28th of this month at the above venue. ive never been there before as ive only been fishing a few weeks. would be nice if someone on here knew the place & could give me some pointers on how to fish it, would be great if i could beat them in a match so i could take the mickey. you know what its like they all think they are going to win lol..
