no mate, and they have the same problem, impossible to tighten down to them but korda leads coating isnt exactly coarse is it, thats a smooth plastic coating, also, once the diamond lead thing has been dragged about a bit, not gonna be so invisible anymoe,if they are, scatches and gouges will hold debris and stuff. total farce if you ask me, and as for clear hooks, what?. as if metal hooks dont catch enough already!

was going to say longer hairs. i generally fish 22mm baits with about 20mm between bait and bend of hook. but theyve got to be feeding right really as otherwise the hook may not get taken back far enough. and as a result the fish will pop off after a short while. on the other hand, a really short hair, like 1 or 2 mm may get pulled way back in the mouth which is what you want, had a small double the other day and the Hook was at least 25mm back in the mouth. on a short hair. it sounds to me as though they are quite delecate feeding fish, as in picking up baits bit by bit, rather than up to the gill covers really troughing. would that be right? perhaps critically balancing a bait would work.

i think its because the way the rig is designed there isnt the chance for it to get rejected, the way the hair is, it means the weight of the bait dropping down in the mouth turns the hook so it cant get rejected. personally, i prefer the untouched simple hair rig but with a longer hair, maybe 20mm hair lenght between bend of hook and bait
