this the one with the fountain in ? - i stayed there in may 2012 for a week lakeside in one of the houses - only fished from 7-11pm evenings only and caught loads - (10 fish per time - mostly doubles) - virtually all ghosties between 8-14lb - some of them where stunning linears and heavily scaled - they loved their bait in there Also had a few tench on boilies as well Little horseshoe and bradleys round the corner on day ticket as well

going to try running leads this season - do you find that the tubing stays in the buffer bead ok and if it comes loose does it cause any problems, also do you ever fish a backstop on the tubing

went may last year, all the lodges are stunning and the hot tub is superb residents lake full of small crucians and tench and ok for a hour fished specimen lake mostly on short evening sessions and caught fish between 8-13lb, lots of high singles and they love floaters, a few big bream as well the old long lake is good for a few hours evening as well catching low doubles and some cracking tench, crucians most of the lakes were never to busy and the place itself was immaculate im looking forward to going back - great relaxing break

im off for my fist visit to merrington next week for 2 nights having just got back into carp fishing - i only live 15-20 miles away but heard it was difficult so thought i would spend time on local club waters first - ive bought some frozen vision lt94 barrells for bait and intend to fish bags only - anybody able to pass on any helpful advice/tips/pegs that will hopefully help me catch a fish over 15lb (my club waters all seem full of high singles/odd double)
