  1. Cheers for the advice Steve, so many people warned us about the weather that early in the year we've changed our plans. We're now going Chub and Barbel fishing in the UK in March and then a French trip later in the year, taking the families with us.
  2. That's ok, invoice is in the post
  3. Never been there, but just goggled it and they've got there own website if it helps at all, www.lakefarm.co.uk don't know if you've already seen it already.
  4. Has anyone got any up to date info on Tanyard please
  5. A friend of mine always mashes a tin of beef catfood into his method mix, it stinks like you wouldn't believe, but it works a treat
  6. Only just realised how close Tanyard Fisheries is to where I live, so had a quick look over there at the weekend. If anyone can give me some up to date info on the place, baits/rigs etc I'd be grateful, as I think I might be spending quite a bit of time there for a while
  7. Thanks berny, Just looked at your site, looks good, I'll P.M. you with some dates etc then talk to my mate. Cheers for your help.
  8. Thanks for that, I'll start looking a lakes further south.
  9. Me and a mate really, really want to get ourselves over to France in early 2009. Unfortunately, we would only be able to make the trip in February or March, due to work/family commitments. I've contacted a couple of fisheries in the Brittany area and have been told the weather will be horrible and wait until later in the year, which we can't really do. Has anybody else been over to France during these months previously that can give me some advice on where to go. I know it's going to be cold, but that doesn't bother us at all, last February we fished the river Severn and dispite actually freezing to the bank on a couple of occassions still managed to catch new PB's for both Barbel and Chub . Anyway if anyone can help at all I would be very grateful.
