    fished st johns many times in the past and done ok yes it gets busy but their are so many carp in there, they will be on your baits usually within a 24 hour period as the carp are always on the move. fish travel on top of the bars in summer a lot and zigs are deadly in the spring and summer. the lake do's switch off sometimes due to weather conditions but you can always fish one of the other lakes on the complex as they are so close. good luck
