am defo going to do the nights once a month...think it starts june 26

it was the fisrt time on there last fri, when you came down..i had that 20.. last time i fished it was about 5 years ago,,had some nice fish up to 19,,but they have come on well in the last few years

when i fished it last wk i also found this,,i fished the reed first thing,,i was getting liners and about 9am had a run,,but around 12 / 1pm the fish moved out and into the back bay

il be down in the morn for a day session 8ish boilies,, corn,, pellets,, all work if you can find the fish

yes i was fishing the reeds first thing, had a screamer about 8.30 but went solid then moved onto the point about 1ish had the mirror about an hour later there was two guys fishing behind me in the back bay..and there was a guy on the point oppo me fishing towards the car park they left around 4

just got back for pine pool..hard going today, there was six anglers on. but managed a nice mirror. posted in catch reports

1 mate, low 20, A few of the stockies are coming out, there isnt alot of bait going in so there not putting alot of weight on, still around the same size :/ how many orig's are still swimming in the pool??

anyone have any upto date info on canal pool, how the new stock is coming on, and have there been any of the orig's been out since the kill??

did a night at hollyhurst friday..had 8 fish too 18lb.. nice little water for an overnighter and a good chance of a 20!!!!

just done the day there 2day ,, had a few to 12lb ..it was very cold to day... things slowed up a bit but fish still showing.. pegs 22 -27 seem to bag the bigger fish,, fish as tight to the island margin as you can and i mean tight """"inches good fishmeals or big pellet 22mm. keep a little bait fired over every 1/2hr also try the near margin keep rig simple as you like,, but would use flying bkleads.

hi mate take it you live near,,, if your after you first 20 i would pick a water which offers up more a chance. not slagging the place good little overnighter but bit low on 20s. theres is a water 5mins up the road hollyhurst by tusses with a good few 20s iv had 3 in may last 2 session

havent been here for a good few wks. last time i fish it, i was picking up a lot of the smaller fish. anyone fished it latley and any of the better fish showing??? cheers guys

seems like its picking up nice since the spawnin ... iv did the odd 24 hr since the 20 i had in the first post! but during the overnighters, iv been unlucky by the size of fish having alot btw 5/ 10 lb. think its a good thing for the lake.. like "what rsw75 which were transfered to the smaller carp to match lake". this will help the bigger fish grow on and help the water. i think this will also free up the lake so peps looking for carp up to teens and a good bend in there rod, can head for the match lake. look forward to seeing this palce over the next few years

£6 per day 2 rods he hasent done nights before but i asked him if i could do a night or 2 and he said that would be ok ..he just wants to let regs and get to know whos fishing the nights ..think hes looking for around £12/15 per night.. there are a shed load of doubs up to 20s, 6/7 20s and the 30. the banks are nice flat and grassie ideal for a overnighter http://www.fisheries.co.uk/hollyhurst/index.htm

only tryed this place a few weeks ago ...very nice little runs water, only been open for a year. the fish are starting to put on the weight nicely.. some of the highteens are now hitting 20, to add to the 4/5 Original 20s. It did its first 30 last week a 33lb mirror.. all so the owner is willing to allow night fishing to the regs.

i fished there for the day a few weeks ago, while down there on holiday. is a lovely water with some of the best carp around ... it can be a hard water but why not have a go!! keep it simple small amount of bait, try somthink diff like mags worms hemp, and you may just pick somthink up... i fished the first few pegs in the shallows there is a lot of weed but found that between 10 /15 yards the was a silt bed that run along the swims for about 30 yards.. good luck it worth the trip just to be there
