  1. definately serious mate go in and have a look, either that or you can keep on buying silly little tubs from fox or solar for £3,and they disolve very quick
  2. get yourself into the early learning centre and buy some of the foam that they sell comes in big bags of mixed colours, think it's called magic maze, been buying this for the last couple of years, was in last week and its usually £3 for a big bag of it and thay had it on special at £1 a bag so i bought 5 of them so won't be needing to buy some for a long time
  3. hopefully in 5 weeks time when i'm there

    utopia

hi guy's i've got a trip to utopia in 7 weeks time and have the lake booked,i am looking for 1 more angler to come on this trip,i know it's short notice but just posting on here on the off chance that somebody might be interested? the dates are april 12th to the 19th, the overall cost of this trip would be £525 and that includes all meals(breakfast and 2 course evening meal)you would also be picked up on route and would get 15kg of boilies ,cheers colin,pm if interested
  6. had a mate of mine up from rottinstall last year for a bit of piking on loch oich, his mother has bought a guest house in inverness, put him onto some good marks,he phones me when he's on the banks from oich ,he's just had 3lb jack and netted something that was floating about on the surface, which after a bit of explaining turned out to be a kelp,a bit worse for wear, and while he was on the phone he couldn't beleive what he was seeing(two big eyes looking at him from the loch)it was a blooming big seal ,explains why the kelp was floating about , he was totally amazed and yes you are spoiled for choice down there but we've got a couple of gem's in the making up here thanks to the guy's running the carp group
  7. there was a few of the scottish carp group boy's on it last year and had a brilliant week with a couple of 50's caught several 40's and loads 30's the same crowd are away again this year.already booked up this year but a very strong possibility for next year emailed them earlier for availability for 2009 cheer's colin

    new bait

the reason i posted this question or what i meant to say was because it has been fed for so long on quest do you think the carp will prefer the quest as to a new bait which they have not seen yet? my scottish pb was caught on rahja, what a bait
  10. i'm off to a lake in april, the lake for the past 5 years has been fed with quest baits but for this year the owner has switched on to premier baits, would anyone who was going to fish in similar circumstances go onto the premier baits or would they take some quest baits?cheers colin
  11. hi mate i'm new to the carp fishing scene but went to utopia lake last year in april,it's nearly 3 hours from calais the lake itself is 10 acres with a stock of 400 very hard fighting carp ,i've got the lake booked for 5 of us on april 12th at a cost of £ 1200,when i was there last year i had 12 carp out 6 of them 30's and the rest mid 20's with the biggest being 37lb 4oz,the biggest out that week was by a 12 year old and was just over 40,it's well worth a look, www.carpingutopia.co.uk ,cheer's colin
