Try fishing one of the swims on the left hand side as you walk up to the lake Swim one and two are quite a good swim hardley any weed and has produced some good fish latley Andy What day are you looking at going down

Have you fish the complex before?? Do you mind fishing among weed if not fish the far side of the lake as they seem to be gathering over there these last couple of weeks Andy

Jas Thats all i use is that rig but have found that useing a short rig don't seem to work so went on to a long hook lengh of about 10-12 inchs and that seems to have work at thje mo but went quite last weekend but thats fishing i guess Gonna keep changing rig next i go and try something different again always worth a try hay andy

Whats your method of rig's? Have you tried useing different set up's on the water Where abouts on the lake have you been fishing

If yo do catch some small carp just put them in the lake over the back plus it all depends on where you are fishing on the lake, I also had 2 small carp of about a 1lb in weight which i just moved to another lake ,Cause the last thing you want is a small 1lb carp when you are fishing for the big un's gonna have ride down there later to see how thing are going on,Next time i go im gonna take me fly rod and see if i can temp them on a fly,Gonna try and tye my own imitation bread falke on a hook so i can use it on a fly line Andy

Hi syholl Was down there last week also very slow looks like they are spawning again As you can see them just under the water doing there stuff so yes yo done well , It should come on agin soon now the warmer weather is here at last Andy

ya i had a quite night for a change i only managed 2 carp biggest 27lb 6 and a couple of small cats Very quite never had so much sleep there but hay you cant have a red letter day every session andy

Thats the same as i found 3 weeks a go didint bother putting out a big bed of bait And hay presto if worked a treat couldnt do nothing wrong 1bigcarp it just all happened keep ya head up high m8 and they will come Andy

syholl sorry m8 but couldnt help it this time they just seemed to like my net plus i thin kthey just wanted to top there suntans up as it was bloody hot Andy

will have to pop down and see you then im hopefully down friday but if i can get another day down it will be thursday night Gonna try some different tactics this time to see if that also works i now know what works one week but not the next So will be trying something different just to keep the edge on the fish Andy

bank holiday is on the monday aint it ,So are you going down for that week ? Im thinking of gracing the bank again on the last day of that week 31st august till the 2 nd septmber and bloody cant wait may not have such a good session like i did this weekend but you never know Had some bloody good sessions down there now but that has got to be one of the best wanting to go again already (bloody work always gets in the way) Andy

Just been down the six islands lake and there was yet another 40lb er out the weight was 40lb 5 oz so yet another 40 has graced the net Many fish are comming out including the catfish

Hay Sy had another good session at the willowcroft Fished the swim that you were in last week me and my m8 had 4 -30's biggest 37lb 8oz mirror 3 late 20's biggest 28lb 2oz and 3 grass carp biggest 14lb 7 catfish through the night biggest being a nice 29lb 5oz slab of cat so once a gain another good session

oh ok didnt think they went to that size in there Must have slipped in the net when they netted the other lake ive seen a few small ones in water but never on hook

smallest fish is proberly 9 - 10 lb carp and catfish There are clear spots in the weeds just have to find them They have put some weed killer in the water as it was just getting out of control

ya you can put free offerings in i had about 5 kg with partical mix all so i had a pva stick on my rig Ya fished boilie on the hair , normally i fish the halibut pellets rules not a problem some are a bit silly just relly need common sense Have you fished there ???
