yes buddy 6 islands has been fishing very well buth cats and carp have been comming out pegs 5-8 and peg 1 have been good swims Andy

Ive heard from the owner at pentney lakes in norfolk they are planning a syndicate on this complex also a huge restocking of carp 20's 30's and a possible couple of 40's I believe its going to be the 100 members which is filling up fast already but the price is yet to be arranged There will be a waiting list as do most syndicates But think it is what the area needs A great fishery which will suit all angling needs Andy

i know the lake is now a private syndicate water only !! No day tickets allowed

Best time to go on willowcroft is mon-friday as not many people getting on at moment Weekend swims have been busy but always phone and book a place on the lake Lots of fish have been gracing the bank even thou the place has gone down to 12 swims Andy Ps have a look a catch reports on the website for full details www.willowcroftfishfarmandfisheries.co.uk

Has anyone been fishing the willowcroft complex near wisbech as i hear that the cats have woken up and quite a few 20's have graced the bank and one a again a few mid to late 20's on the carp are starting to feed again

Hi jas Ya even thou it wasd a bit slow,I had some results ,i was fishing in the first swim in between island 1 and 2 on the left hand band as you go up to the bank, I was surprised that i caught but hay thats fishing i guess Andy

ya i had a 24 hr session on saturday night Only had the 2 carp out one a 26lb 5 oz and the other out at 19lb had a few knocks also during the night but nothing came of it,Was happy with the 2 that graced the bank looking for forward to another session before the close of 2007 Andy

jas Well the temp has dropped its chilly outside today ,So the best part of it you know the fish will be in the warmer parts ie the weed good luck m8 Hope you have some fun let us know how you get on Andy

jas The hot swims at the moment are the normall digger swim or on the back side fishing in the weed they seem to be holding in there quite alot latley Andy

had a session down there last weekend very quiet only had the 2 catfish this time,The fish dont know whats happening due to the contant weather changeing , but will be givving it another go shortly to be quite honest it makes you think about your rigs and bait so the story goes on, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BOB Andy

ya i know how you feel m8 ive yet to catch a zander All me pike gear is at the ready and ready for the winter months, but gonna have another session down there this week, Crap weather forcast for today but seems to be good for the rest of the week So gonna see if the carp and cats are back on the feed again,Got some new baits to try but gunning for the big cats this time hopefully mary the 60 + cat hopefully gonna grace my net ,well i can dream i guess but fishing is fishing and you never know what will come out I know its been very busy down the lake latley

Dont be affraid to fish the weed,As they seem to be holding in there alot over these past couple of weeks If you dont like it then do it,Im sure your mum has told you dont do that but you still go ahead and do it take your time when playing a fish if goes solid its proberly burried back in the weed put you rod back on your pod and relax they always come out in the end and hay presto you have you fish in the net Happy fishing all Andy

The 7pm thing they have is just plain stupid in my opinion... Well thats there for the saftey so they can lock close the gates as there has been a few people getting on site and poaching the fish,Its all for a good reason mind you Plus its for the saftey of the anglers aswell You'll have to tell your boss that you are the boss and leave early Ill be there again a week today for 2 nights maybe 3 yet depends if the wife lets me do the 3 night session As i cant stay away from the place as its friendly and the fishing is good down there,Plus you get no hassle from the kids running about,and you can just relax and enjoy getting those fish on the bank, Gonna have a session on the top side next time fishing the weed again,As thats where i had my best session of 32 cats and 9 carp but lost nearly the same of 21 but has thats fishing, See if i can get a red letter day again where no matter what i do it all works May be see you on the bank soon syholl

Just had a 48 hr session at weekend good first night 3 cats to 23lb and to carp up to 26lb 9 oz Then the rain stopped and so did the fish nothing else at at the rest of session Andy wont give up will be back

no i think the biggest carp is 47lb plus and the cat is 45lb but there is a 65lb plus in the lake on the cat Andy

Theres been alot of carp and cats comming out of the lake over the last week ,Some good ones aswell A good 43lb catfish and a good 45 lb mirror wouldnt mind them in my net next time i go

I must say never give up on the margins yes the swans can be a pain,But the carp do come into the margins at night so If your feeling lucky drop one in the margins but keep a EYE out for the swans otherwise you could have a great catch with feather's on Have now had a few fish from under the rod tip ,Never under look it

weimaraner anything is worth a go bait is bait at the end of the day Something new and smelly might just be the job to land them carp you never knjow untill you try

have been useing dynamite baits fresh fish mussel & oyster ,with a particle mix Also halibut pellets 21mm have also been good Andy
