As someone that has done 15 years in security, fisheries will not put cctv up as one its expensive and there is only one person that will pay for it (us carpers). And there is a salary involved for someone to be watching the cctv say 12-24 hrs time which again who would pay that?

I fish the local canal and am constantly getting caught up on bikes, shopping trollies and other junk. I have never had the chance to see or smell someones doo doo so i suppose i must be lucky or someones trying to leave a message that this peg is rubbish !!! Seriously though it is annoying but if you dont clear their rubbish up then the person after you could think it was you that left it. I carry a roll of cheapo bin bags in my kit precisely for that reason and it dont take no room up.
  3. Thats an idea, cheers gaz, searched through knots but could not see one that did the same thing as the blood knot (linking 2 lines together).
  4. Have just got another spod rod for my son and on connecting the leader to the line i cannot do the blood knot to save my life as mine was done by a mate and he dont live next door now so cant ask him. Is there an aklternative to the blood knot or is there any easier knot that can be used to connect leader to line. The line is 12lb to a 15lb-45lb shock leader?
  5. This is certainly looking different to what I expected at the moment.
  6. I did try the stone variety but not sure on the casting of them as the weight aint there much due to its appearance. but this has been covered before.
  7. I use an inline lead which for me seems better then the normal lead.

    leader

The Korda one i use now piking and it holds to their gnashers so thats how strong they are. I use the one neil mentioned "Korda Safe Zone Kamo Leader 24" in the silt as you can obviously get it others like weed etc. If you wanna use them i would reccomend Korda for my end tackle but thats my personal choice.
