hi guys ive been offered a place on ecton lake on the ecton complex and just wondering if any1 has got any info on the lake i.e stocking levels weed problems is it medium/hard going on there can you drop your gear off at your swim then park up cheers

hi all just wanna pick your brains on spodding leader knots ,im currentley using the back to back grinner knot but this week end it came undone (luckly when retriving the spod in ) has any1 got a good reliable knot that they always use ?? oh its braid mainline to to braid leader thanks

i have been there a few years back now its the worst place ive been in france to date all they do is ship you and ship you out theres that many people there that they cant give you a good service at all the week i went there they change the bollie that they were using so every 1 had bad results only 7 people caught including me but it was 1 or 2 fish each there was 6 in my party and we all have woed never to go back there again

well am just back from another week at lac royal had a better week this time fished peg 1 and had 6 fish (and lost 6) biggest 45 12 mirror had 3 30+ and smallest 15 .9lb all i can say is that i have been to france 8 times now and this is the best run fishery that i have ever been to,what they say on the website is what you get and more much much more karen,barry,and wayne are fantastic,the food is out of this world and the bivviy service well its just like having room service thanks again guys for another fantastic weeks fishing and i will be seeing yous again nexted year

hi am just back from lac royal yesterday i had a cracking week there so much so ive booked up again to go out on the 31st may the lake is a carpers dream a stunning looking lake and great fishing the guys that run it barry wayne and karen are brillant i carnt give them enough praise a 5 star place and the food is fantasic thanks guys and see you on the 31st

i have started using braid for spoding and need a good knot for my leader have tied the 5 turn water knot but by the look at it i dont have any confidance in it (sorry about the spelling) lol

which of theses knots would you use to connect braid to a braided leader or can you suggest a differant knot
