  1. i can see why you have used the rubber over the swivel. you have attached a quick release clip under there and the rubber is to prevent the hook link getting worked around the in-turned portion of the clip. i used to do the same bud, but now use a bit of silicone instead. this doesn't hinder the movement of the swivel. just another option for you. good luck at sandhurst.
  2. If there is fish showing leave it out longer than if there is no motion in the swim, to keep the disturbance down to a minimum. I have heard a lot of people are catching a lot of fish with just using a trimmed down bit of black foam on the hair when zig fishing. give it a try mate with a sloppy spod mix over the top to cloud up the swim bud. good luck.
  3. like all other have mentioned, search u tube bud. only advice to give mate is when selecting the the depth you want to fish at, start with the longest, then work shorter. you can always take some off but you cant add it. sounds obvious i know but you have to find what level the fish are at. fishing linear myself at the end of the month also. see you on the bank good luck.
  4. cast out quite often to start with to build up your swim, get the fish feeding. another good bait on your method is the old pellet. just pour a little water over them and leave for a while until they have soaked it up, then mould around your feeder. Good thing about method feeders they open up so many avenues for flavours. keep on trying until you find what the fish are having. good luck mate.
  5. cheers guys. im not going to let the idiots spoil it for me. we have to stick together and not let these type of people win.
  6. Where did you get the motion sensors bud? i have also heard the thieves have even come into your bivvie to tell you they are nicking your tackle? any truth to this????
  7. hi guys. im wanting to do a 5 day session at linear with my brother, however been told a few stories about tackle getting nicked. I have insurance but are the guys doing it likely to get nasty? two rules to life, never touch a man's wheels, and leave his fishing tackle well alone!
