theres a few threads on it ive fished it five times in the last four months and its been hard going not many carp are showing them selfs was down there last week on sunday and the same story again one guy had been there since the thursday and had only managed one out even christine the owner said its been really slow part of the problem i think is the ammount of preasure on the venue and the ammount of bait folk are putting in there since becoming a season ticket holder in june have only managed one bream out im sticking with it though as the numbers fishing it are droping slowly due to the weather so may make a difference hope that answers a few for you buddy

yes mate thats beedles just as you go out of eastgosgote or how ever its spelt lol you turn left for the golf course and then turn in to the golf course and follow the road up the side of the railway and your there mate

theres allways navies in wigston thats got a good head of 20s just not in the best place if fishing on your own for night fishing days is fine i want to get a 24hr in on there at some point this year to not fished it for over 5yrs but walked round many a time and seen some decent fish come out

spring grange hasnt got any 30s and only a hand full of 20s i fished it alot couple of years back when it was owned by gary and karren my mate used to ballif there i poped over there sat as two of my mates had done a 24hr and nowt had come out all but a coulpe small ones its still a nice place to fish though and i may do a couple of sessions there myself i know what your saying about willeley though as i became a season ticket holder there this year and it is hard going there are plenty of carp in there but its just so pressured there just not interested

wasnt me louis speersy i was on wood bank buddy i think you and your mate started on the swim that looked like a picnic table lol think i spoke to you a couple of times im going to leave them alone now for 3 or 4 weeks to spawn then il hit again now i have my season ticket

you couldnt have been fishing the swims we were on as we didnt leave untill monday at 11 mate i think you and your mate went on the swims past us at the top

we managed to get the last two swims on the wood bank on the sunday then by sunday night there was only 5 of us on that side all the others had left by about 8

your not wrong mate they were just cruising up and down all day and through the night im going to leave it for a few weeks before i return the place was packed when me and my mate got there at 5:30 sunday morning there as only three swims available

i will let you know mate when i get back monday with some pictures hopefully i know what you mean about navies its still not the best place needs alot of work but dave doesnt want to it so will stay the way it is unfortunately could be a nice place with the right work done to it

i havnt had any thing from willesley only fished it once will be the second time sunday i am going to get a season ticket for it though as there is so many nice fish in there i havnt fished anywere else in leicester as of yet not fished for a few years i am going to do a session on navies pit wigston at some point for some strange reason i keep getting the urge to fish it it could be because my pb came from there i would defo give willesley a bash though mate

i have now been granted a season ticket when i return in two weeks so all good for me now

she must have had a soft spot for you then louis coz i asked and she not on your first visit been bitten before she said return in few days and il let you but i cant get back untill end of the month and she must be reducing the ammount as she said got two more to do in two weeks and then thats it

i am going to fish the wood bank when im back there at the end of the month going to see if i can have a few out during the night a few guys i spoke to who have fished it for 5 yrs said that its getting a harder and harder water as time goes by as they were saying its a pressured water now im hoping that christine will allow me a season ticket as id like to do a season or two on there

thanks mate fished it friday had a few nocks nothing on the bank though but i know i wasnt doing anything wrong as nothing came out on the whole lake apart from one mirror of about 14lb fished it on field bank peg 8 its a lovely place and i will be returning again for 24hrs this time with a better result i hope

as above going to fish willesley tomorrow for the day first time back on the bank in 3 yrs i may become a season ticket holder aswell can anyone say weather or not there is a place around the lake that is best to fish and is it worth becoming a season ticket holder at this venue thanks in advance

sorry to bring up an old thread but ive just been down today for a nosey fished there about 6 or 7 years back and going to fish it again this year it has changed a fair bit there are two huge swims one at the top left and one on the very top right spoke to an old guy who was there with his grandson and he said last week he had a 17 1/2lb common out the carp lake and theres rumor that a 32lb came out two weeks ago so defo giving it a bash it is both members and none members its £10 for day £15 for 24 hr so not bad on price either took a few snaps of the lake on my phone i will get them up for all to see
